Hiring of Primary Teachers Through PTCs Approved for 2025–2026 (Official Notification)

According to the official notification issued by the Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Provincial Cabinet has formally approved the hiring of Primary Teachers through Parent Teacher Councils (PTCs) for the academic session 2025–2026. As per the cabinet decision taken in its 42nd meeting held on 12 December 2025, teachers will be hired strictly from the KPESE Talent Pool following the prescribed due process. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure that every primary school in KPK has at least four teachers or as per the approved School Teacher Ratio (STR). For Summer Zone schools, appointments will remain effective from 16 January 2026 to 31 May 2026 (05 months), while for Winter Zone schools, hiring will be valid from 1 March 2026 to 30 June 2026 (04 months).
