The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new application called NADRA Pak ID, which offers citizens the convenience of creating identity cards using their smartphones. NADRA Pak Identity app will provide a very easy way of making CNIC through your phones in Pakistan. Now you don’t need to visit NADRA office yourself for making your CNIC manually because NADRA Pak ID have make it very easy to apply for CNIC from mobile phones.

The NADRA Pak ID mobile application (2023 onwards) gives citizens a very easy solution by solving the problem of inconvenience of standing in lengthy queues and enduring long wait times at NADRA offices. With this app, the entire process of applying for identification documents, including ID cards and other documents Like Domiciles and birth certificates etc, can now be completed using a mobile phone device. This innovative approach provides the added benefit of being able to order ID cards or other identification documents from your home by preventing the hectic process of NADRA office visiting.
According to NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik, the Pak ID mobile app is equipped with a document recognition system and biometric authentication facility. As a result, citizens can now conveniently create their identity documents using their smartphones, as the entire process can be completed through this app. So this NADRA Pak ID app in 2023 onwards will save a lot of time for citizens and they can make their id card from their homes.

According to Tariq Malik, the Pak ID mobile application will provide citizens with immense convenience, while also adding to NADRA’s list of accomplishments. With NADRA app, Pakistan has become the first country in the world to offer biometric authentication and online document submission facilities. The Chairman of NADRA further added that the app was developed using “contactless technology,” enabling citizens to take full advantage of modern digital facilities to create identity documents through their smartphones. Additionally, citizens are encouraged to share their valuable feedback through the survey provided in the NADRA app.

First of all you have to visit PlayStore of your Mobile and download Pak ID App application on your device
Enter the details required during registration like personal information, your email id and mobile verification
Now you will have to upload your documents required for CNIC Verification and preparation
Next step will be to upload your picture from your device so keep your latest photograph in your Mobile
Upload any other document if you are asked , so keep pictures of all the documents in your Mobile phone
Next step will be to provide your digital Signature in Pak ID app
After this you have to allow the app to take your finger prints
After this step you have to make online payment as required during CNIC preparation
At last you have to select the delivery method of receiving your CNIC at home without visiting the NADRA office.

Track your CNIC application status

In addition to the automated updates mentioned, Pakistani applicants can check their application status by sending their Application Tracking ID via text message to “8400”. For overseas applicants (applicants of Pakistan), the status of their application can be checked by logging into their registered account on the Pak-Identity website.
