How To Verify and Apply and Check Voters Details in 2023:

All voters who are interested in taking part in upcoming General elections 2023-24 should follow these steps in order to register for Vote via 8300 sms.

Step 1: Checking your vote registration status by sending an SMS to 8300 with your National Identity Card (NIC) Number. You can find your NIC Number on your identification card. Compose a new SMS and type your NIC Number in the message body. For example, if your NIC Number is 123456789, your SMS should look like this: “123456789”. Send this SMS to the number 8300.

Step 2: After sending the SMS, wait for a reply from 8300. This reply will contain information about your vote registration status. Make sure to read it carefully.

Step 3: If your vote is registered according to the SMS reply, proceed to check if the mentioned electoral area in the SMS is correct. The electoral area specifies the constituency or district where you are registered to vote. If the electoral area mentioned in the SMS reply is incorrect or doesn’t match your current constituency, you will need to fill out Election Commission Form 17. The canter scan check the overall district wise total votes registered according to 2020 data. Once you open the homepage of this website you have to select your promise and the district name. Click on the check now button and you will see the over all voters registered in your district from 2016 to 2020. But so far the ecp has not uploaded the updated data from 2021 to 2023 voters list.
